While painting may be a solitary process, I am always conscious of the presence of my fellow working artists and those who have gone before me. I am never truly alone when I paint because they are within me, filling my heart with energy, light and happiness. They have nourished my creative spirit, and I am so grateful for their friendship and inspiration.
